Hentrad / The rules

Small, fixed risk.Every day.

The app enforces every rule itself, before an order is placed. They're the same in practice as on a funded account, so the habits you build in week one are the ones you trade with in week fifty.

Rule 1

Your day
has a line.

At Level 1 your day stops at $2 up or $2 down for every $1,000 of your account: ±$2 on a $1,000 account, ±$10 on $5,000. Reach either and trading pauses until tomorrow. The rule is the same whether the day went well or badly: stopping at a win is as much a part of the discipline as stopping at a loss.

Try it

Place a few trades and watch what happens when you reach the line.

What counts

The line counts your result for the day: closed trades plus anything still open. Once it's reached, open trades are closed and new ones are refused until the next trading day.

When a day starts

The trading day resets at midnight UTC (GMT). Moving a loss past the reset doesn't make it go away: close trades by your plan, not the clock.

02

Every order is checked

Before it's placed

Each order goes through the same checks, whoever places it. If one fails, the order is refused with the reason, and nothing is placed.

A stop-loss is set, on the right side of the price, not too closeCHECKED
Size between 0.01 and 1 lotCHECKED
The trade risks no more than the day's lineCHECKED
Open trades together can't risk past what's left of the lineCHECKED
The day's line hasn't been reached yetCHECKED
The account's trading period is still openCHECKED

Pending orders (a buy or sell limit, or a buy or sell stop) wait for your price. They pass the same checks when you place them, at their own price, and again when they fill. While one waits, its risk counts against your line, and it lasts until the end of the trading day.

One clean, well-planned trade a day is a legitimate way to trade. That's why a single trade may use the whole line, but never more.

03

Levels are earned, never given

Funded weeks

A week counts toward your next level when it ends in profit. Weeks are counted across the whole journey, not in a row, so one bad week doesn't erase months of work. A level never goes down once earned.

2Consistent Trader3±$4
3Proven Trader6±$7
4Elite Trader10±$10
5Master Trader16±$15

Lines are for each $1,000 of account: a $3,000 account at Level 3 has a ±$21 line. The per-trade risk limit equals the line.

Every badge can be checked publicly on the badge check page, so anyone can confirm your level is real.

Rule 4

Losing days
are what count.

A losing day is any trading day that ends below zero, not only days that hit the line. Three losing days in a row, or three within the last five weekdays, ends a funded run. A day you don't trade never counts.

Try it

Tap each day to switch between rest, a winning day and a losing day.

Rest days never count against you.

Why every loss counts

If only line-hitting days counted, a trader could lose $1.99 every day forever. Counting every losing day keeps the rule honest.

The way back

Withdrawn traders can pay the reinstatement fee and continue right where they stopped, as often as they need until the journey ends. How coming back works

What you trade

22 markets

Currencies, metals, oil, stock indices and crypto. Everything is measured in US dollars, so the daily line means the same thing on every market, and the desk shows what a trade risks in dollars before you place it. Some markets move in big steps: on Bitcoin, silver or oil even the smallest trade can risk more than a Level 1 line, so they suit higher levels.
